I also suggest using a water bowl. On a hot day, you get lots of dogs stopping off for a drink. Not only does that put you in the good books of the owner, but as you say it gets all the dog lovers to stop by and pat the dog.<br><br>If you have a well behaved dog, it is also great if you have them quietly sleeping in a corner.
